City Fit Girls Run Club - Philly September Schedule
Fall race season is approaching! Whether you're new to running, running your first 5k or looking to improve your time on your next half-marathon or full-marathon, we have group runs for you! New to running? Start here.
We're excited to announce that City Fit Girls Long Runs will be added to our weekly run schedule during the months of September, October and November. Check out the details below.
Wednesday Group Runs: Our weekly Wednesday group runs will continue to meet at Dilworth Park -- unless noted otherwise -- at 6:30PM.
September 2: Easy 3-mile run (Shake out run after Philly 10k) - This run will be conversation pace/perfect for new runners.
September 9: Cross-Training Run & Run Club Birthday Party (MEET-UP LOCATION TBD)
September 16: Easy 3-mile run. This run will be conversation pace/perfect for new runners.
September 23: 3-mile Speed Run (Details announced closer to date)
September 30: Choose your distance: 3-5 Mile Ben Franklin Bridge Run - Who loves hills? We do! Enjoy the scenic Ben Franklin Bridge Run and join us for drinks afterwards (Bar TBD)
Saturday Group Runs: Starting September 5th, we'll meet at Dilworth Park at 8:30AM for a 6+ mile run to Kelly Drive (and around MLK Drive if you're going longer). These runs will be super flexible! We'll start at Dilworth but you'll run as long as YOU need to.
Live in Fairmount? Just meet us at the Art Museum or anywhere along the drive! Remember, these runs are super flexible and will go at YOUR pace.
Why Saturday long runs? Because sometimes you just need a running buddy to get those tough miles in.
