Spring 2016 Races We're Excited About (NYC, Philly, Chicago, D.C. & More!)

Spring 2016 may seem a little far away but if you're planning to hit the pavement running in the new year, we suggest you start marking your calendars now! To help kick off your training, we're excited to let you know that City Fit Girls -- all over the country -- can join our all-levels Run Club community and receive training tips via our weekly training newsletter. How It Works: Sign up for City Fit Girls weekly email updates to help you stay motivated, fit and training through the fall/winter season. Want a little extra motivation? Join City Fit Girls Run Club on Facebook! 

Meet-ups and group runs: We want you to connect with other City Fit Girls in your city! Join us for training runs, events and meet-ups in Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia & Washington, D.C. (P.S. If there is enough demand in your city, we'll host events there too!)

Georgia

March 20 - Publix Geargia Half/Full Marathon: The 2016 Publix Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon will host more than 16,000 runners. The course heads through some of the most noteworthy and historic areas in greater Atlanta, including Piedmont Park with the start and finish areas in Centennial Olympic Park!

Illinois 

May 22 - Chicago Spring Half Marathon: Start your race season on the right foot with the Michelob ULTRA Chicago Spring 13.1 & 10K! Just steps away from Lake Michigan; enjoy the intimate urban venue, gorgeous lakefront course and gourmet hot breakfast along with a refreshing Michelob ULTRA at the finish line.

Maryland

May 14 - The Maryland Half Marathon & 5K: The 13.1 mile course runs through scenic Howard County beginning and ending at the Maple Lawn Community.

Pennsylvania

April 10 - The Love Run Half Marathon (Philadelphia): CGI Racing introduced The Love Run~Philadelphia half marathon in 2014 and it quickly became the City's premier Spring half marathon. Your love of running combined with all the great sights and sounds you love about Philadelphia. Join thousands from around the nation for an unforgettable weekend to kickoff the Spring in the City of Brotherly LOVE.

May 1- Broad Street Run 10-miler (Philadelphia): The Blue Cross Broad Street Run course is a 10-mile, point-to-point course.The course is a pleasing run past the varied neighborhoods of Philadelphia along Broad Street. The race finishes inside the Philadelphia Navy Yard at the end of Broad Street in South Philadelphia.

New Jersey

April 3 - Atlantic City April Fools Half Marathon: With a flat, fast, and unique course beginning in Atlantic City, runners will spend a few miles running on the wood planks of the boardwalk before heading through sleepy beach towns with ocean views the entire way. Live course entertainment, moisture wicked technical shirts and custom finisher medals make this the best half marathon of the Spring!

May 15 - Wild Half Marathon & 8K: The Wild Half Marathon & 8K combines the love of running with the rhythm of beach life for one amazing half marathon and 8K. Set along the sights and sounds of the Wildwoods, the flat course takes you from stunning beach views of the coast into the action of the boardwalk creating one unforgettable race.

New York

March 20 - New York City Half Marathon: The 2016 United Airlines NYC Half will take runners from around the city and the globe on a 13.1-mile tour of NYC. Led by a talent-packed roster of American and international elites, runners will stop traffic in Manhattan, from Central Park through Times Square to South Street Seaport!

April 17 - More/Fitness/Shape Half Marathon: The MORE/SHAPE Women’s Half-Marathon is celebrating its 13th anniversary on April 17th, 2016 and will once again prove that Women Run the World™ .

Washington, D.C.

April 3 - Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Miler & 5K Run-Walk: The course is flat, fast, and certified. Landmarks along the route include the Jefferson Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial, the Watergate complex, and the Tidal Basin.
