Just Released: Nike LunarEpic Flyknit

Nike has changed the game...again. Last week, they released a new running shoe that they say is designed to look and feel different. "It's designed so you won't feel at all," they say. Here's what you need to know about this revolutionary shoe and how it compares to your favorite running shoe.

If you're in the market for a light-weight shoe with lots of cushion, the Flyknit LunarEpic is for you. Sure, at first it looks a little like a moon shoe but once you try it on, the Flyknit upper forms perfectly to your foot and the sock-like upper fits great around your ankle. If you've ever tried on running shoes and looked for that "extension of the leg feel", that's exactly what happens when you try this on.

How It Measures Up To Your Current Shoes?

When Nike said there was nothing like it, they weren't kidding. The Lunorlon cushioning can take on the impact of everyday running so the shoe is safe for training for your next 5k or 10k or even 10-mile race! But if you typically run in stability shoes, we'd only recommend using this shoe for shorter runs or workouts or adding a shoe insert for extra support.

Is it worth it?

With a price tag similar to that of the adidas Ultra Boost, $175 can seem like a lot to spend on the shoe. Any Nike shoe with a premium Flyknit upper will always cost more than your average shoe because the materials take longer to engineer. Did you know that it took four years for Nike's engineers, designers, and programmers to create Flyknit? Talk about dedication...

If you want to try a pair of these bad boys, Nike is giving you the chance to test them for 30 days and if you aren't feeling them then you can return them with no problem. Yup! You read that right. Click here to learn more.
