As we reflect on how amazing the year has been, we can’t help but feel excitement for what’s to come in 2019. Not only have we created goals for City Fit Girls, we’ve also thought about areas we’d like to develop in. Here’s what we’re thinking:

Kiera: Incorporate more mental wellness in my personal and professional life, set a personal record at The Broad Street Run, and be more intentional about dating.

Takia: Set a personal record in a half-marathon, obtain a strength and conditioning certification, and work on being more open and vulnerable (blah).

If you haven't thought about your goals or resolutions for 2019, get started today!

Our 2019 Goals for City Fit Girls: 2018 has been an incredible year for City Fit Girls. Our weekly group runs and track workouts helped you build meaningful relationships and push beyond your limits. Our private workouts gave you a chance to try new studios and classes. Our 6th Annual FitRetreat brought 200 of us together for a fun day of wellness. Lastly, our newsletter helped thousands of you prepare for the week with recipes, workouts, tips and more.

We know the work that we’re doing has impacted many lives but we want to do more. Fitness can offer plenty of physical and mental health benefits and our main goal for 2019 is to make it more accessible to all women no matter their age, race, neighborhood, income level, or gender assigned at birth. We also want to create an even more inviting and inclusive environment for women no matter where they are on their fitness journeys. We recognize that what we are trying to do is not the norm in the health and fitness industry. It won't be an easy road but with your continued support, we'll always be up for the challenge.

Wishing you a happy and healthy new year!
