This past Wednesday, (Four Women) Run for All Women - Alison, Marquita, Talisa, and Kim - set out from Harlem to run about 250 miles to the Women's March in Washington, D.C. in an effort to raise money and awareness for Planned Parenthood.

They planned to run relay-style through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland to finally join the march in Washington. After launching a campaign on GoFundMe, they were overwhelmed with the amount of people who wanted to run with them and support them along the way. After 8 days of fundraising, they reached their goal of $44,000 and headed out of town to Washington.

We were lucky enough to join them along their run through Philadelphia. Their route took them through Northeast and North Philly before making their way to Center City. We met up with Alison and crew at 6th & Market in Old City. Philadelphia's running community met them with a giant party complete with Beyonce and a few glow sticks. In total, about 250 runners from multiple Philadelphia running clubs joined them on their legs through Philadelphia to the Delaware border.

To date, (Four Women) Run for All Women has raised $90,000. You can follow along their journey here

1/21/17 UPDATE: The crew arrived in Washington, D.C. on the National Mall in the early morning hours on January 21st and have raised close to $95,000 for Planned Parenthood.
