15 Summer Essentials We Can't Live Without
With fall race season right around the corner (I know, right?), running through summer heat is almost impossible to avoid. When humidity and high temperatures strike, we have to practice safety throughout our summer training programs.
We compiled a list of 15 essentials that we can't live without during summer training months. From hydration packs to socks, we cover all the basics. Each product has a description and a link leading you back to its original website so you can learn more about it.
Hydration vests, belts and bottles

Trail running shoes: If you plan to escape the summer sun and retreat to your local trails for shade, you'll want to get fitted for a proper pair of trail running shoes. If trail running doesn't account for a large portion of your miles, then you're probably okay with the shoes you use on the road. If you plan to run technical trails or in areas where there is rough terrain, head to your local running store to get fitted.
