Ever wonder what it would be like to spend your vacation days visiting the national parks? Or maybe you've caught the wanderlust bug and you've been thinking about ditching your 9-5 for a freelance gig in Central America.

Whatever your travel goals are, you're going to love the Sunshine Chasers podcast by Amanda Folk. Whether you listen on your long run or your rest day, Amanda and her podcast guests will definitely inspire you to book your next flight (or at least browse AirBnB for travel inspiration).

I don’t want Sunshine Chasers to act as solely inspiration, I want it to help people take those first steps towards that life-changing experience outside of their comfort zone.

What is the Sunshine Chasers podcast?

Whether you need a mental boost on your commute or you’re on a road trip to somewhere fabulous, we’ve got you covered. These episodes are typically around 50 minutes and chock-full of good stuff. Season One is all interview style and I have some amazing guests and conversations for you to dig into. - from the Sunshine Chasers website.

Why inspired Amanda to start the podcast?

We had a chance to catch up with Amanda (read her City Fit Girls blog posts here and here) about what inspired her to start a podcast. Here's what she had to say:

"I started Sunshine Chasers because I felt like my blog posts weren't empowering people the way that they could be. I wanted to show people who have decided in their heart that they want to take that trip they've been thinking about for years, want to start mastering outdoor skills, etc.

What I really love about the interview format for the show is that we talk about SO MUCH MORE than that, and I really do think that people can get something out of each episode. I don't want Sunshine Chasers to act as solely inspiration, I want it to help people take those first steps towards that life-changing experience outside of their comfort zone." - Amanda Folk.

Ready to leave your comfort zone?
