This past weekend, we kicked off City Fit Girls Streak with a 9ish mile bike ride in Philadelphia. Like our group runs, our rides are welcoming to cyclists of all fitness levels.

This past weekend, we headed to Center City for two back-to-back sessions at Fit Tribe, a gym that provides both group personal training as well as one-on-one personal training. We learned about this gym from our friend and Coach, Rosie, who teaches at their Bryn Mawr location. For the earlier part of 2016, I dedicated a lot of time training for my first marathon. While I had some cross-training days here and there, time was largely spent hitting the pavement. Once I completed 26.2, I got into a running rut and switched my routines to everything but running (yoga, spin, lifting, etc). All winter long, many of us work out indoors, hoping for just one mild, sunny day so we can lace up our sneakers and go out for a run. Then spring arrives, but it passes by quickly. And before we know it, temperatures soar above 90 degrees.
