Over the past five years, we've been trying to figure out ways to do more with the FitRetreat experience. Every August, we leave the event wishing we had more time to workout, drink mimosas, and chat with you about mental health, professional development, and self care. After years of thinking about how we can take FitRetreat to the next level, we've decided that it's finally time to curate a full FitRetreat Weekend Experience. Keep reading to learn more. 


Just like our one day event, the FitRetreat Weekend Experience will bring women together over fitness, wellness, self-care, and brunch. We'll also add collaboration (cooking meals together) and engagement (discussing topics that are near and dear to our hearts) to the main goals of the event.

We'll be hosting these events in different locations. Think beach getaway in Florida, hiking in the Pocono Mountains, and maybe serious retreat vibes in Mexico. Private House or Villa For Our Group

These Weekend Retreats will be small but mighty. We'll be living just the locals do. Although the lodging arrangements will vary based on the location of each trip, you can expect anything from shared living spaces (cabin-style bunk beds) to individual rooms with a Queen-Sized Bed. 

If you're looking for a high-end resort style experience, FitRetreat Weekend may not be the best fit for you. 


Daily Outdoor Adventures

Physical activity is a must. We'll start the day off outdoors running, walking or hiking a few miles. Depending on the location, that could be a run on the beach, a walk through town, or a hike on the trails. You'll definitely want to pack a good pair of sneakers for this. 


Pack your leggings for a yoga a practice designed for newbies and veterans. Our goal is to help you unwind, relax, and promote balance over the weekend. 



Group Discussions

What happens at FitRetreat stays at FitRetreat. This will be a safe space to get personal with deep discussions on mental health, relationships, personal finance, and more. 

Wellness & Personal Development Workshops

Whether it's creating vision boards, goal setting, meditation, community building or self-care, we'll complete one or two creative workshops each day of the weekend. 



Group Meal Preparation

You are what you eat. The fridge will be stocked with enough food to prepare creative and nutritious meals to fuel our bodies during the duration of the weekend. We'll take turns learning to prepare healthy meals for the entire group so that everyone has a chance to get involved. There will be gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available. 

Snacks To Keep You Fueled Throughout The Day

We'll have fresh coffee, fruit, granola bars and, let's be honest, pretzels and chips available for your snacking needs. 


Free Time To Explore

Go out and be great. FitRetreat Weekend doesn't mean you'll be stuck inside. In addition to our group activities, you'll have plenty of free time to explore on your own. Go shopping, grab a bite to eat from a local restaurant, take a tour, etc. Use this personal time however you want.
